Tomas and Calmar arrive in New York with Blair in hot pursuit behind them. Tomas goes to a hotel room where when he enters, we see him talking to someone. Blair spies on Tomas when Calmar catches her and attempts to send her back to Llanview. Blair returns to the hotel and attempts to listen at the door when Tomas storms out. Gaining entrance to the room, Blair is confronted by a woman who claims to be Tomas' wife.

Tomas and Todd take the file on Patrick to Marty. Both bargain with Marty over the information on the disk in her possession in exchange for helping Marty to escape Llanview with Patrick. McBain arrives at the Manning residence with a search warrant and finds Tomas in the pool house holding Liam.

Tomas 'deals' with Marty then with Todd. At Buenos Dias, Blair asks Calmar about his health. Tomas calls Calmar and discusses the situation with Marty and how to handle it. Blair stops by Todd and Téa's and finds Tomas. It's decided by both to take things a little slower. Calmar brings a file to Tomas about Marty's believed dead husband, Patrick Thornhart as Todd is told what the plan is regarding Marty.

Tomas finally gets the chance to be alone with Blair when Todd calls with an urgent message. Tomas returns Todd's call and finds out that Marty is aware of the deal between Tomas and Todd and that something needs to be done about her. Tomas excuses himself and goes to to Todd's where Todd hands Tomas a gun to do what he has to do to silence Marty.

Todd pulls the gun on Tomas. Tomas tells Todd he has no alternative but to let him stay after he shows him a disc with some information on it that changes Todd's mind about shooting him. Tomas and Todd are spied on from outside the house. Téa returns home to find Tomas still there and something suspicious going on. Tomas excuses himself to go change and head off to Carpricorn where he makes contact with Blair.

Tomas is still in custody at the Llanview Lockup as Téa tries to get him freed after Todd's recantation. Todd continues to be held by the secret people who show him a photo of Tomas. After Tomas is allowed to go, he and Téa return home where Téa tells Tomas he needs to leave considering the animosity between he and Todd. Tomas forces Todd through their deal to tell Téa he needs Tomas to stay. Todd draws a gun on Tomas.

Tomas' Parisian friend, M. Claude Calmar, comes to see Tomas in the Llanview Lockup where Tomas continues to be held. Tomas tells Calmar about Todd's visit and his recantation. Téa happens on the conversation and tells her brother of Todd's change of heart and agrees to once again represent her brother. [ NOTE: "Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tieds" trailer is included in the clip...favourite actor Ian McShane and all. ]
