Tomas finally gets the chance to be alone with Blair when Todd calls with an urgent message. Tomas returns Todd's call and finds out that Marty is aware of the deal between Tomas and Todd and that something needs to be done about her. Tomas excuses himself and goes to to Todd's where Todd hands Tomas a gun to do what he has to do to silence Marty.

Tomas 'deals' with Marty then with Todd. At Buenos Dias, Blair asks Calmar about his health. Tomas calls Calmar and discusses the situation with Marty and how to handle it. Blair stops by Todd and Téa's and finds Tomas. It's decided by both to take things a little slower. Calmar brings a file to Tomas about Marty's believed dead husband, Patrick Thornhart as Todd is told what the plan is regarding Marty.

Tomas and Todd take the file on Patrick to Marty. Both bargain with Marty over the information on the disk in her possession in exchange for helping Marty to escape Llanview with Patrick. McBain arrives at the Manning residence with a search warrant and finds Tomas in the pool house holding Liam.

Tomas is caught by McBain in the pool house with Liam. McBain is curious about Tomas' story as Téa arrives home to find her house being searched. She questions Tomas about what is really going on. Tomas calls Calmar to inform him all went well.

Téa questions her brother about what happened with Marty and how he found Liam. Tomas tries to defend Todd to Téa when Todd calls from teh police station. Blair finds out it was Tomas who 'rescued' Liam and later goes to the Manning residence to 'reward' Tomas.

After rewarding Tomas, Blair is comforted by Tomas after she questions her maternal capabilities surrounding Jack's bullying of Shane. Tomas reassures her she is fine but reveals he must get to something in New York for Calmar.

Tomas and Calmar arrive in New York with Blair in hot pursuit behind them. Tomas goes to a hotel room where when he enters, we see him talking to someone. Blair spies on Tomas when Calmar catches her and attempts to send her back to Llanview. Blair returns to the hotel and attempts to listen at the door when Tomas storms out. Gaining entrance to the room, Blair is confronted by a woman who claims to be Tomas' wife.
